FIFO packing list

One of the most popular questions we get asked!

Most mining operations are at very remote locations. Some may have a small shop at the village reception where you’re able to buy a few items, however many do not. For those lucky enough working near a “residential” town, grocery shops are a luxury, and you’ll be able to go shopping for anything you may have forgotten.

Camp services will provide linen, towels and basics - think about what you may expect in a hotel room. Packing a few items to help make your room feel a little cosier is especially nice when you’re away from home for weeks at a time. Things like your own pillow/pillowcase, photos of loved ones, or a memento.

After your first swing, you’ll know exactly what you need. We’ve prepared a list of essentials below, to ensure you’re not caught out.
